How to Join LifeGuardian Beta on iOS
About LifeGuardian
With permission, INS LifeGuardian Connect® lets family members, carers, and support workers stay across the safety and wellbeing of someone using an INS LifeGuard personal alarm, all from your own phone.
What you can do:
● Alarm and Emergency Event Notifications - notifications need to be enabled. You'll receive a notification when the alarm event is closed out.
● View and Filter Activity History - review and filter the activity of the person you care for, including alarms, vital signs, geofence events, and more, all in one place.
● Device Status & Battery Alerts - check device status at a glance, and get notified if the person you care for forgets to charge their medical alarm system.
● View and Update Their Profile - view and update the profile of the person you care for, including health details and medical history, keeping their information current and accessible.
● Wellness Tasks - if the person you care for has INS LifeGuardian®, you can set up one-off or recurring reminders for medication or appointments, or recurring logs, i.e., recording symptoms to manage a chronic condition.
● Safety Check-In Alerts - if the person you care for has activated the INS LifeGuardian® Safety Check-In Feature, you'll receive real-time alerts for missed check-ins and live location tracking to pinpoint their exact location, to assist if needed.
● Vital Signs and Health Data - automatic syncing is available if the person you care for has the INS LifeGuardian® Premium plan and health data collected from their own compatible smartwatch, such as Apple Watch or a supported Wear OS device. Availability varies by feature and device. This appears under the Health Data tab and includes critical updates and abnormal events from the last 24 hours.
● Geofencing - if the person you care for has the INS LifeGuardian® personal alarm, you can set a virtual boundary yourself and be notified if it's crossed.
This app is compatible with the LifeGuard SmartHome IP Dialler (legacy device, existing installations only), SmartHome LGX, SmartLink Medi-Guardian MKII, Chiptech SEVEN LE, plus new and existing users of the LifeGuard SmartTracker, and INS LifeGuardian®.
The person being cared for must grant permission before a carer can view or update their information.
