Getting your late-night cravings or urgent household essentials delivered has always been a game of chance. With the latest TestFlight beta builds of 7NOW, 7-Eleven is pushing the boundaries of mobile commerce utility right on your iPhone.
As a veteran TestFlight reviewer who has spent years benchmarking iOS builds, I put this utility release through its paces. Let's look at what makes this delivery platform a staple for modern convenience.
7NOW: Food & Alcohol Delivery — Quick Specifications
Developer: 7-Eleven, Inc.
About 7NOW: Food & Alcohol Delivery
Developed by 7-Eleven, Inc., 7NOW is a dedicated shopping and food delivery platform designed to bridge the gap between physical convenience stores and digital fulfillment. Users can browse over 3,000 items ranging from hot foods and snacks to alcohol and health needs.
The core premise centers around speed and accessibility, promising deliveries in about 30 minutes around the clock. The platform integrates local restaurant delivery options in select metro areas alongside traditional convenience store favorites.
The studio behind the app has continuously refined its digital infrastructure to handle high-volume transactions effortlessly. This particular beta release focuses heavily on payment accessibility and membership tier perks.
Standout Features & What's New in this Build
This experimental build introduces several notable enhancements to streamline user checkout and reward systems. Here are the standout features you will encounter in the current TestFlight version:
- SNAP EBT Integration: Users can now pay for eligible food items directly in the app using their SNAP EBT card.
- Split Payments: The updated checkout lets you split payments cleanly between SNAP-eligible items and another credit or debit card.
- 7-Eleven Gold Pass: Enjoy zero-dollar delivery fees, discounted pricing for students, free drinks, and 10% cash back.
- Real-Time Tracking: Monitor your delivery driver's progress across active major US cities with live map updates.
- No Minimum Orders: Order as little or as much as you want without steep mandatory minimum cart totals.
Hands-On Impressions: Performance, Battery, and Thermals
Navigating the product catalog feels exceptionally fluid on hardware equipped with ProMotion displays. Scrolling through thousands of inventory items exhibits rock-solid frame pacing with zero stutter or dropped frames.
Because shopping apps run frequent API calls and location pings, thermal management is crucial. Testing this build on modern Apple Silicon iPhones revealed virtually zero thermal throttling or excessive battery drain during extended browsing sessions.
“The integration of split payments for EBT users showcases how mobile utility apps can genuinely improve everyday accessibility through smart software design.”
System Requirements & Requested Permissions
To run this TestFlight build smoothly, your Apple device must be updated to iOS 16.0 or later. The app scales gracefully across various iPhone form factors, fully utilizing modern screen real estate.
Permissions-wise, the app requests precise Location Services to pinpoint nearby 7-Eleven stores and delivery drivers. Push Notifications are also requested to keep you informed regarding live order status changes.
