About AmongFolk
AmongFolk is a private place to share everyday life with family and friends. The photos from Sunday, a voice note on the way home, the next get-together. All in one place, just for your folk. No adverts, no algorithm, no strangers.
Life, a little closer.
Posts appear in the order they were shared. Nothing is ranked or suggested.
SHARE THE SMALL STUFF
- Photos: up to ten per post, kept as originals, not crushed. Video: a clip up to a minute
- Voice notes, with Plus: up to three minutes, with a written-out version if you choose
- Replies and reactions. Mention someone so they don't miss it
- Check-ins: a weekly or monthly question, in words, a photo or a short video. Past rounds stay as a book
- Weekend plans, so the next few days don't slip past
- On this day brings old posts back on their anniversary
- Search your group, and keep favourite moments close
INVITE YOUR FOLK
- A private link, a QR code, or a two-word phrase and a PIN
- People in the group can suggest someone they already know. The owner decides
- A weekly email for folk who don't open the app. Photos stay out of the inbox
PLAN TIME TOGETHER
- One-off events with RSVPs, guest counts and little notes. Add the date to your calendar, or subscribe once so confirmed plans stay up to date
- A named pin that opens in maps, or a few words like "the old house"
- Shared lists everyone can tick off, and notes for directions, allergies and the running order
- With Plus: date polls (people can suggest dates), questions for your folk, recurring plans, rotating hosts, a spot limit with a waitlist, and inviting another group. Each group keeps its own replies and photos
KEEP WHAT MATTERS
- Birthdays start a guestbook automatically. They can't read it until you give it to them
- With Plus: albums, guestbooks you open by hand, recipes and traditions, and film, series, book, record and place recommendations
- Two little games, with Plus: The Worst Expert, and Prove It
MADE FOR EVERY GENERATION
- Families across time zones, old friends, a book club, a five-a-side team
- Sign in with a password, a one-time code, or a passkey. If they can tap a link, they can join
ACTUALLY PRIVATE
- Invite-only. No adverts, no third-party trackers, no selling your attention
- A real help centre when you're stuck
- Export your data or delete your account whenever you like
HOW IT WORKS
One person starts the group and hosts it; everyone they invite joins free.
Free: up to eight people and 500 MB of shared photos and video. Notes, replies, reactions, shared notes and lists, one-off events, birthday guestbooks, check-ins, weekend plans, search and the weekly digest. No card, no countdown.
Plus covers one group: room for 100 people and 50 GB. It adds voice notes, date polls, recurring plans, rotating hosts, invitations between groups, spot limits with waitlists, questions for your folk, albums, guestbooks you open by hand, recipes and traditions, recommendations, and the two games.
Together is those same paid features for up to five groups you belong to, with room for 250 people and 50 GB in each. Any adult in the group can try Plus free for 30 days, with no card. The trial includes up to 5 GB of new uploads.
AmongFolk Plus is £4.99 a month or £49.99 a year. Together is £12.99 a month or £129.99 a year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and it renews until you turn off auto-renew in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.
If a subscription or trial ends, your posts, replies, events and albums stay put. Photos, video and voice notes are kept for a further twelve months. We'll remind you at 90, 60, 30 and 7 days, and subscribing again stops the clock.
