Vocatim turns any conversation into clean, readable text — and it never leaves your phone.

Record live or import an audio file, and Vocatim transcribes it, tells apart who spoke, writes a short summary and even answers your questions about it. Everything runs on your device, with no cloud, no account and no sign-up. It works offline — on a plane, on the metro, anywhere.

IN YOUR LANGUAGE

On iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 26.4 or later, Vocatim also translates your recordings, right on the device, with Apple's on-device translation.

• Read the original, the translation or both, line by line. A recording that mixes languages is translated line by line, each from its own language.
• Translate the summary and the live note in one tap — the sections and tasks stay where they were.
• Export the translation on its own or next to the original, as Word, TXT, SRT or VTT, or as the new Markdown and JSON files.
• Library search also looks inside translations, so a search in your language finds a recording made in another, once it is translated.
• While you record, captions show each sentence in your language a few seconds after it is spoken.
• Caption mode puts the captions in large text across the whole screen, and flips them for the person opposite you.

The system downloads each language once, the first time you use it; after that, translation works offline. You can choose from the languages Apple's on-device translation offers, except Swedish, Danish and Norwegian. Translations are machine translations, and the original is always one tap away.

• Eighteen-language interface — the app is available in Polish, English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Swedish, Chinese (Traditional), Turkish, Norwegian, Danish, Czech, Slovak and Ukrainian. Speech transcription works in the same eighteen languages.
• Also on Mac — Vocatim runs on your Mac too, with a wider two-pane layout and larger AI models where your Mac can handle them.

YOUR CONVERSATIONS STAY YOURS

Vocatim has no backend and no account. Nothing is uploaded to us — there is no "us" to upload to. There are no analytics and no tracking. If you use Vocatim on both iPhone and Mac, optional syncing goes through your own iCloud, which only you can read.
